Gana Gamal has a physical disability child and has a high function of autism.  She would act out and self-mutilate her body.  She would also act violently towards others.  She came to the center in 2013 and we worked on her communication skills.  In the beginning she did not like sudden change in schedules; she would kick, scream, cry and bite. After working with her attitude and temperament is much better, she is able to cope and adjust to new surroundings and people with ease.  We continue to work with her on her communications skills; we have taught herhealth and life skills like cleaning, cooking, washing oneself, and dressing oneself.
